Cottage Escape in the Allegany Mountains

Nestled in the mountains of Ellerslie, our charming cottage is just minutes from world-class hiking and biking trails like the C&O Canal Towpath and Great Allegheny Passage. Enjoy a day floating down the Potomac River or swimming at Rocky Gap State Park. Nearby, the city of Cumberland offers hip restaurants, bars, cafés, and retail shopping. Craft beer enthusiasts will love the several award-winning breweries close by.

This small cottage is part of a larger property which was completely renovated in 2024. The cottage offers a cozy queen bed and a full bright bathroom. Stay in for board games and movies, or head out for a hiking adventure or bike ride. Make it a cook-at-home night or enjoy a meal at one of our favorite restaurants in town for delicious food and wine. Be sure to visit the award winning breweries and the historic downtown Cumberland while you are here. Whatever your preference, you are sure to find something to enjoy!

You will have full access to the cottage. Our only ask is that you respect the privacy of the neighbors in the front part of the house. There is a park in Ellerslie a short walk away if you are interested in exploring.

The Cottage is completely yours when you stay with us- no sharing required! Enjoy self check in, and if you need anything, just reach out!

The home is most ideal for two adults. While we have not specifically set up the space for a small child traveler, you are welcome to bring them with your own pack-n-play and necessities. Also, small, potty-trained animals are welcome.
